This performance lecture develops a somatic map of the journey tomatoes make from the plastic sea, the biggest European greenhouse area, located in Almería, Spain to Copenhagen, Denmark. Most people working in the greenhouses in Almería are migrants, working in dire conditions and are in and out of legality in terms of their resident status. The lecture looks at European "hand" politics; "warm hands”, “skilled hands”, and of course the right skin colour hands, mobility as an economic asset and economies of time. It creates different imaginaries, tracing Fatima’s reality and the tomato production inside of my - and other - bodies.
